Quo Vadis

.Do you know where your life is going? The Lord Jesus has a great plan for you!

Quo Vadis Days is a vocations discernment camp for men entering 9th–12th grades that includes talks by local priests and seminarians on the priesthood, virtue, and fatherhood. The event strikes an effective balance between the activity of a summer camp and the quiet of a retreat.

Coronavirus and Quo Vadis 2020:

We are pleased to share that the State of Ohio Department of Health is now allowing residential (overnight) summer camps to reopen, and are happy to continue accepting registrations for the Quo Vadis retreat July 26-29 at the Pontifical College Josephinum. We are committed to the safety of our retreatants and will follow whatever protocols are in place for the State of Ohio and the Diocese of Columbus. Current guidelines from the Department of Health include temperature checks and lots of hand washing. Given the ever-changing regulations of the past few months, we will notify you of any changes prior to the retreat.

Please continue to pray for all those affected by the Coronavirus and an end to the pandemic.

If you would like to attend, please register soon to save your spot.

Prayer. Discernment. Brotherhood.

Quo Vadis offers the structure of Holy Mass, the Liturgy of the Hours, Eucharistic Adoration, time for personal reflection and interaction with priests and seminarians, as well as the fun of activities, sports and fellowship. This year, Bishop Brennan will provide a closing Mass with the attendees and their families.

Ultimately, we hope to equip you with the tools and opportunity to discern God’s will in your life.

As the Diocese of Columbus reorients itself towards evangelization, the Diocese is beginning to invest more time and resources into a diocesan-wide social media presence.  As this is now beginning to grow, the Vocations Office will no longer need to carry the message in social media as the Vocations Office.  The new Social Media Department of the Diocese will have the mission of spreading the Gospel through social media and will be the avenue by which the Vocations Office works to promote a culture of vocations.  As the Vocations Office we will still continue our information website, www.seekholiness.com.  This site will be going through an exciting transformation over the next several months as the Diocese moves to a new platform.  We will also begin running our vocations-oriented messages, event announcements, and news through the diocesan social media platform.  Because of this, Face Forward’s time will be coming to a close at the end of this month.  We thank all of those who have been a part of this important work in the life of the local Church. We look forward with excitement to the spread of the Gospel and the cultivation of a culture of vocations as we enter this new phase in the life of the Diocese of Columbus.  Please continue to follow along with us through our seekholiness.com site and through the Diocese of Columbus Social Media platform.
