St. Brigid of Kildare
Established over thirty years ago in 1987, St. Brigid of Kildare is the only Roman Catholic parish in Dublin, Ohio. There are currently about 12,000 parishioners of all ages. There are two St. Brigid of Kildare parishioners who are currently in the seminary.
Brian Vetter has been a parishioner since 2009 and attended St. Charles Preparatory School. Brian graduated from the University of Notre Dame in 2017, and then entered the Moreau Seminary, located on the Notre Dame campus. He recently completed his first year at the seminary and began his formation with the Congregation of Holy Cross. Brian is unsure if his journey will ultimately lead him to the priesthood, but is diligently pursuing the Lord and is on the path to figuring out what his vocation will be.
Christopher Mescher has been a St. Brigid parishioner since 1999 and also attended St. Charles. Christopher attended Brown University before joining the Pontifical College Josephinum (PCJ) seminary. He has four years remaining at the PCJ. You can watch Seminarian Christopher Mescher share a glimpse of his journey here.
